Waves плагины. Дела проблемные — разбираемся, пытаемся решить (2 онлайн)

Вот с такой ошибкой сегодня столкнулся, установил блин 8) кто сталкивался? И где баг репорт у вейвс?

Коллеги, нужна помощь.
Причина проблемы была найдена. И заключается она в том, что я использую VPN соединение. При его отключении и возникают данные глюки. Сейчас необходимость в VPN у меня пропала, но пользоваться плагинами я иначе не могу.

Суппорт Waves меня вежливо послал: "Under our Computer Appears as Disconnected Device in Waves Central we list VPN as a software protocol we don’t support — due to this issue you experience, I advise removing the VPN from your system with the help of a computer technician if needed, as we can’t assist with the software we don’t produce (VPN)."

Может кто знает, как можно победить ситуацию. Опцию Recover хотелось бы использовать в самую последнюю очередь.

После установки лицензионного Waves TransX и Waves Central соответственно(Версия Central — 10, последняя под Windows 7), при включении ПК стала вылезать вот такая вот ошибка, про отсутствие компонента:

Скачал набор библеотек Visual C, обеих разрядностей, все существующие на 2022 год, ошибка после их установки не ушла. Система — лицензия, не сборка "Дяди Васи", ключ был куплен легально.

А вообще, наличие Waves Local Server принципиально для работы данных плагинов или нет?

Не знаю, но.
Возможно, не нужно этого делать.
Какая разница, какого формата (ilok, elicenser или обычную флэшку) донгл таскать с компа на комп?

У меня тут же и Waves были. Когда были.

Сегодня победил проблему. Искал решение новой (долго грузились плаги waves во всех хостах), а оказалось, что решение то же и для моей главной проблемы, с которой я уже сроднился.

Оставлю здесь коммент с форума Waves, может, ещё кому когда пригодится.

Там, было предложено два пути решения. В комплексе ли они помогли или только второй — хз.

How to Solve “Waves Local Server is not Connected” Error Message

Learn how to solve the error message “Waves Local Server is not Connected”.

‘Waves Local Server’ is an important Waves process responsible for logging into applications such as StudioVerse or COSMOS, and properly loading the plugins.
When it is not able to connect to its database, the plugins or applications may not function properly.

1. Repair the installation from Waves Central:
   • Quit any host.
   • Launch Waves Central and go to the Settings page.
   • Click Repair.
2. Check if your Antivirus or Firewall programs are blocking Waves Local Server. If they are, create an exception or temporarily disable the program.
3. If you are connected to the internet via a proxy, temporarily disable it.
   • Windows:
     Go to Control Panel > Internet Options. On the Connections tab, click the LAN Settings button and uncheck Use proxy server for your LAN.
   • Mac:
     Go to the System Preferences > Network > Advanced > Proxies tab.
     Under Proxies, make sure nothing is checked in the list.
4. If you are connected via a business network, ask your IT department or internet service provider whether something might be preventing Waves Central from connecting to our servers.
