If you want to visually censor your videos, there are a few effects you can apply. You can use the default blur tool on the settings. Just click on your video, whether it’s a YouTube video, a business, or sales video, then adjust the slider of the blur tool in the settings. Or you can go to Filters -> Effects -> and select a blur effect that you want. You can also adjust how much blur you want to apply to your video.

You can also easily censor your video’s sound. First, detach the audio from your video; you can do this in one click! Split and mute the part of the audio you want to censor. To censor/pixelate in Photoshop, start by opening Photoshop. Click ‘File’ and then ‘Open’ to browse your computer to get your image into Photoshop (or simply press ‘CTRL+O’ on your keyboard). Or you can browse your computer or external drive to find your image, right-click the image and select ‘Open With’ Photoshop.
Select the part of the image that you want to censor. In our case, Homer can not get cought eating a donut because he is on a diet. He wants his face pixelated (Yeah right Homer, no one will know it’s you!). Select his face using the ‘Rectangular Marquee Tool’ (M).
Click ‘Filter’, select ‘Pixelate’ and select ‘Mosaic’.
In the ‘Mosaic Option’ box you can adjust the amount of pixelation. Click ‘OK’.

How do you censor a video?
Upload the video that you’re looking to censor to your Flixier library. You can choose a video from your computer, bring one over from cloud storage services like Google Photos or Dropbox, paste in a YouTube link or import your Twitch clips, Highlights and VODs.
Double click on your video to add it to the Timeline. Then, go to the Shapes tab on the left side of the screen and click on the Add Square Mask button. Select the mask on the timeline and blur or pixelate the area by clicking on the appropriate option on the right side of the screen. You can reposition the mask by moving it around with the mouse button and resize it using the controls on its edge. To change when it comes up on screen and how long it lasts, drag on its edges in the timeline.
If you want to censor your video with a black bar, just click on the square icon in the shapes tab, give it a black Fill Color using the right hand menu and use your mouse to resize and reposition it.
Once you’ve finished censoring your video, click on the Export button in the top right corner, then click again on Export and Download. Flixier will take a couple of minutes to process your video and then the censored clip will be downloaded to your computer.
