Карта не работает: выдает ошибку еще до введения номера.
PayPal не загружается, а просто бесконечно кружится. Причем из браузера я на сайт PayPal зайти могу, а из клиента Origin — бесконечная загрузка и никакого результата.
Третий вариант — пополнить кошелек ЕА — я пока не пробовал, это будет план Б. Я видел карту пополнения на 1000 рублей в Эльдорадо, но эта сумма — ни туда и ни сюда. Месяц EA Play стоит 299 р, а варианта заплатить за 3 месяца вперед там нет.

Нашел карточку с кодом подписки на месяц в Мвидео, но оплатить не получается — пробовал и с карты Тинькофф, и со сберовской — везде одинаковая картина: деньги с карты списываются, код на почту не приходит, деньги возвращаются.
Потом купил эту подписку в DNS. Деньги списались (и пока не вернулись), квитанция, что усё уплочено, пришла на имейл, но сам код пока не пришёл. Написал в техподдержку, но они, дай бог, только к утру ответят.

Это игровая платформа одного из крупнейших издателей видеоигр Electronic Arts. Она полностью заменит Origin — устаревший лаунчер компании.

Как скачать и установить EA app
Скачать на официальном сайте. Electronic Arts разместила установщик EA app на отдельной странице. Сейчас загрузка доступна только для Windows — пользователи macOS пока остаются на Origin.
Во время установки EA app автоматически удаляет Origin. Все установленные игры, сохранения и учетная запись автоматически переносятся на новую платформу. После запуска EA app попросит войти в аккаунт.
Дождаться обновления Origin. Electronic Arts уже заявила, что все пользователи Origin автоматически перейдут на EA app. Но неизвестно, когда и как это произойдет. Скорее всего, это случится после обновления Origin.
Что изменилось в EA app
У приложения новый дизайн. В отличие от светлой темы Origin, у EA app темное оформление с акцентом на разные оттенки синего. Дизайн упростили, теперь в левом меню только три пункта: «Главная», «Обзор» и «Коллекция».
На главной странице EA показывает актуальную распродажу, ожидаемые игры и тематические подборки — например, лучшие гоночные и спортивные игры. В «Обзоре» можно найти все игры EA app — их столько же , сколько было в Origin. А в «Коллекции» отображаются все игры на вашем аккаунте.
EA app синхронизируется с аккаунтами Steam, PlayStation и Xbox. Так вы сможете перенести в приложение друзей из разных платформ. Если у вас оформлены подписки Game Pass Ultimate или EA Play, то после привязки к аккаунтам сможете бесплатно скачивать игры в коллекции EA Play или покупать их со скидками.
Мы протестировали эту функцию и выяснили, что пока она работает только с привязанным Game Pass Ultimate. Оформленный EA Play на PlayStation у редактора Т—Ж не позволил скачать игры по подписке на ПК. Вместо этого сервис предлагает оформить подписку. Возможно, это временная или частная проблема.
В настройках появилось больше опций. Теперь можно включать отслеживание времени в игре, добавить учетную запись подростка с ограничением по времени и посмотреть подключенные аккаунты. Например, EA app позволяет синхронизировать профиль с Discord — чтобы друзья видели, во что вы играете.
Можно ли скачивать и покупать игры в EA app из России
Покупать игры пока нельзя. Ни один из указанных способов оплаты в EA app, включая банковские карты и перевод через ЮMoney или QIWI, не работает. При попытке оплатить заказ приложение выдает ошибку.
При этом страницы всех игр EA, включая ремейк Dead Space и FIFA 23, переведены на русский язык. Цены также отображаются в рублях.
Есть ли другие способы. В EA app все еще можно скачивать бесплатные игры — например, Apex Legends или онлайн-РПГ Star Wars: The Old Republic. Также для загрузки доступны игры по подписке EA Play. Среди них есть The Saboteur и Medal of Honor: Allied Assault.

Впечатления от EA app
EA app удобнее Origin. Страницы на платформе загружаются гораздо быстрее, а сам лаунчер стал отзывчивее. Еще им приятнее пользоваться благодаря улучшенному дизайну. Переход получился плавным и быстрым — к Origin возвращаться не хочется.
Исправили недостатки Origin. Лаунчер больше не требует вводить данные аккаунта при каждом входе. Скорость загрузки игр повысилась в разы — раньше на это уходило больше времени. Отдельно радует синхронизация подписки EA Play с консолями. Теперь можно играть в одни и те же игры на разных платформах.
Без рабочих способов оплаты смысла в EA app не так много. В марте Electronic Arts официально прекратила продажу игр в России и Беларуси, а значит, купить новинки вроде ремейка Dead Space пока не получится. На платформе можно играть только в игры из подписки EA Play или в тот же условно-бесплатный Apex Legends. Тем не менее EA app полностью локализован.
